Voyages of Vanguard is a podcast for the MMORPG Vanguard, Saga of Heroes!
Hosted by Beau Turkey and Luper, the show tries to entertain as well as inform.
The show was, until recently, hosted by Troy and Karen, but Beau took over after Troy said “farewell, for now” to Vanguard and to pursue another podcast. At first Beau would just submit “newbie segments” to the show, but slowly they became longer and longer. He was FLOORED when he was asked by Troy to take over the show.
Beau also likes to write “about” sections as though someone else wrote it.
Luper is a full time raider and part time smart alec. She knows WAY more than Beau.

(disclaimer: I have no idea if Beau has any thoughts or if he does have thoughts how deep they are. allso I have never heard any one talk of Beau going to the bathroom ,so how he takes care of business I really do not know. As far as Luper goes I have never heard any one comment on her height. So I have no idea if in fact she is little. Allso I have never heard her rock. The only thing that I think I know is that she is hot or she just takes a good{photoshop?} pitcher)

LUPER I am so sorry that I ever said any thing. I was checking out the VG forums and it looks like you have had a lot of people calling you hot in one way or a nothere. It seems that most of these have come after I made my comment. I feel that it is because I said it that the rest feel that thay can say what ever thay want to. I worry that some one will cross the line and piss you off. I was trying to be funny and it looks like it back-fired on me. well more on you. again I am sorry and did not mean to start any thing bad.

I have to say, I love the show. I use to listen to it back when Troy first started it. Even though I never played the game. I always wanted to play it but never had the PC to be able to. I recently upgraded my PC and I am now capable of handling Vanguard. I was at work today and I listened to the newest podcast, and I must admit, you are the best.
I am going to pick up Vanguard Collector’s Edition for $20 at Gamestop, so what server are you on? May I start my first character in the same server as you. It would be a great honor to be able to play with you.

Hi There!
Love the show. I am back to Vanguard recently after being gone since beta.
I have a question though. This may seem pretty insignificant but it seems easy to fix. I noticed that as you log into the game there is all kinds of crackling audio and blinking screen textures. Can’t they fix this because it seems like an easy fix. Is it just me or are others seeing/hearing this as you log in? You don’t get this in other games and it’s the first thing you experience as you log into gameplay or character selection. Can’t the Dev’s just mute and fade in – seems like it couldn’t be that hard to fix.
Anyway, thought you may have the answer or tell me that it’s just me and I just need to deal with it.
BTW: Did Luper get her name from “The Tulse Luper Suitecases”? Just curious cuz I saw it and it’s very cool.

Oh, I must be blind. I didn’t notice your comment was about my guitar Jim. I tend to skip over the remarks about looks… so I figured yours was the same.
That guitar is an Ibanez SG Series. She’s beautiful and sounds just as rad.
Also…Alik, that photo is not photo shopped. I don’t own photo shop, but I’d like to!
